No one remembers when we first made our shortbread dipped in milk chocolate, but I know I was sneaking them out of the candy case as early as the 1970's, and they are still one of my favorites. The shortbread is made with only butter, flour and cane sugar. We press the dough into a mold, chill, and then cut by hand into slices which are baked to a golden brown. Then, these crunchy delights are dunked in gloriously rich real milk chocolate. Delicious simplicity that quite literally melts in your mouth. (Freshly packaged in a cellophane confectionery bag.)
