In the 1980s we discovered that lemon pâtes de fruits dipped in premium ivory coating tasted uncannily like lemon meringue pie. The result became Lemon Meringue Pie Candy®—a registered original customers still call “heavenly” and “to die for.” It’s been a bestseller for decades; in peak months we share about 80 pounds of samples a week in the Bandon store alone.
Made with a precise blend of real lemon juice and lemon oil, then finished in a smooth ivory coating, each piece opens bright and puckery, then melts into a creamy, pie-like finish.
